Obituary of Crystal K. Ferrell

Crystal K. Ferrell, age 56, of West Main St. in Avon, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her mother, Charmaine Kuhlman. She is survived by her husband, Johnnie, father, Kenneth H. Kuhlman of Warrensburg, MO, sisters, Dianna Kuhlman of Independence, MO, Susan (Tom) Wilson of St. Joseph, MO, Phyllis Callahan of Centerview, MO, brother, Kenneth B. (Stacey) Kuhlman of Independence, MO, 1 niece and 4 nephews. Crystal was born August 4, 1959 in Warrensburg, MO the daughter of Kenneth H. and Charmaine Chatburn Kuhlman. She was a graduate of Warrensburg High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Missouri. Crystal earned her Masters of Fine Arts in Costume Design from the University of Memphis. She was the Costume Designer for SUNY Geneseo, a sign language interpreter and puppet maker.
