Obituary of Doris M. Bailor

Doris M. Bailor, age 83, of Stuyvesant Manor in Geneseo, died Monday, November 16, 2015 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Bailor in 2005. She is survived by her children, David Bailor of Geneseo, Dorothy Duran of FL, granddaughters, Tiffany (Michael) DiPerna, Susan and Stacy Bailor, great grandchildren, Michaela, Nathan and Kaleb DiPerna, brothers, Floyd Embling of Honeoye Falls, Kenneth (Norma) Embling of Caledonia, several nieces and nephews. Doris was born April 28, 1932 in Churchville, NY the daughter of Ward C. and Hazel C. Murney Embling of East Avon. She graduated in 1951from Avon Central School. Doris was Head Cashier at the University of Rochester Bookstore, and worked for Livingston County retiring from the Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church having served as Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Treasurer for 14 years. Doris volunteered for Livingston County Hospice. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge where she was a past N.Y.S. Chaplin, past Matron of the Geneseo Order of Eastern Star, assistance leader for 4-H, Girl Scout Leader and former Treasurer of the CSEA Local #826. Friends may call Friday, November 20, 2015 from 10AM - 12 Noon at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon with Nancy Lowmaster officiating. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
