Obituary of James F. Murphy

James F. Murphy III, age 57, of Meadow Drive in Geneseo, died Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his father, James Murphy II, sisters, Elaine Murphy and Lorraine Mangini. He is survived by his daughter, Valerie Munley of FL, mother, Roseann Murphy of Geneseo, sister, Roseann (Michael) Gates of Piffard, brother, Michael Murphy of New Rochelle, NY, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. James was born September 25, 1958 in Mt. Vernon, NY the son of James F. and Roseann Stellate Murphy II. He was employed at the Boca Raton Polo Club in Florida before he relocated to Geneseo. No prior calling hours. His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11 AM. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
