Obituary of Judith S. Lewandowski

Judith S. (Rhoades) Lewandowski , 67, of Chili, formerly of Leicester, passed away on October 31, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Born October 1, 1948 in Bradford, PA, Judy was the youngest daughter of Doyle V. and Eleanor Rhoades. The family moved to Seneca Falls when she was young. She graduated from Mynderse Academy in 1962. She worked as a secretary for Gould Pumps for many years. After moving to the Leicester area, she worked as a secretary for Bucci Real Estate. Judy had a passion for cooking and spent hours in the kitchen concocting delicious creations. Birthday celebrations and Christmas will no longer be the same without her signature dishes for each event. She loved her family deeply and found tremendous joy especially in spending time with her grandchildren. Judy was predeceased by her parents, sister, Margaret and brother-in-law Mario Scialdone, husbands, John Marrapese and Richard "Nard" Cuozzo, and step-son, Stephen Cuozzo. She is survived by her husband, Michael Lewandowski, daughter, Amy (Timothy) Wolfanger, step-children, David (Kelly) Cuozzo, Richard (Diane) Cuozzo Jr., Lisa (Carl) Lewandowski-Sine, Beth (Matt) McCaslin, Harold (Kim) Wolcott, Erika (Eric) Young, and Peggy (Bill) Davis, grandchildren, Hanna and Emily Wolfanger, Alexandra and Michael Sine, Bella McCaslin, Kera and Garrett Young, and Brenna Davis, sisters, Donna (George) Millspaugh and Lynne (Charles) Wimmer, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends including her beloved black lab Zeuss. Friends may call Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 1-4 pm at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo, with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Greenway Pub in Cuylerville.
