Obituary of Mary E. Vazquez

Mary E. Vazquez, 49, of Virginia Ave. in Greigsville, died Sunday, April 29, 2012 at her residence. She was predeceased by her father, William "Ted" Flansburg. She is survived by her husband, Mike Vazquez, children, Elisa, John, Lydia, Julia, and Samuel Vazquez, step daughter, Jeanette (Cliff) Galloway of FL, mother, Georgia Flansburg of Lima, sisters, Rita (Frank) Simmonds of Brooklyn, NY, Regina (Kurt) Kausn of Fairfax, VA, Susan (Jonathan) Fields of Brooklyn, NY, Naomi (Kenneth) Genuard of Brooklyn, NY, brothers, Bill (Patti) Flansburg of Syracuse, Paul Flansburg of Lima, Patrick Flansburg of Rochester, David (Kari Logan) Flansburg of San Diego, CA, Joseph Flansburg of Honeoye Falls, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and god children. She was born August 8, 1962 in Rochester, NY the daughter of William and Georgia Vodzak Flansburg. Mary was a software engineer for Croop LaFrance, in Rochester, NY. She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Geneseo. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St in Geneseo on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Bernard Dan officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery in Lima.
