I just looked for Kate online because she was my all-time favorite professor at SUNY Brockport. One of the projects I remember most was a 12 hour detox from media of any kind. we had to write about our experience. I used that lesson many times over the years. (Until it was mostly impossible!! I can't imagine doing it now!!) She taught us to open up about important topics in our time; racism and equality while teaching Communication Theories. I am so sad to see that she passed, but I am a smarter and better person for knowing her. Rest in Peace.
