Obituary of Edward B. Pringle

Edward B. Pringle, 91, of Chandler Rd. in Piffard, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. He was predeceased by his wife, Ida in 1978, daughter Lollie Hopkins in 1992 and sister, Wilma Teetsel. He is survived by his daughters, Karen (Louis) Lougnot of Liverpool, NY, Marcia (John) Trathen of Piffard, NY, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and his sister, Ardyth Cooper of Ocala, FL, nieces and nephews. He was born October 9, 1920 in Woodhull, Illinois the son of Charles and Mildred Bloomfield Pringle. Edward was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a retired miner for AKZO Nobel Salt Mine, where he worked for 37 years. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 12 Noon-2 PM where Memorial Services will follow visitation at 2 PM. Interment will be in Mt. Ash Cemetery in Covington with Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the Livingston County Ambulance, 3360 Gypsy Lane, Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
