Obituary of Lawrence W. Scully

Lawrence W. "Bud" Scully, 87, died Friday, February 3, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Mr. Scully currently was residing in Mt. Morris, and was previously from Geneseo. He was predeceased by his wife Katherine Scully in 1990. He is survived by 3 sons, Mike Scully of Mt. Morris, Stephen (Deena) Scully of Henrietta, Matthew (Sally) Scully of Mt. Morris, best friend, Marilyn Cleveland of Geneseo, grandchildren, Bill (Brooke) Allen of Livonia, Dan (Patti) Allen of Castile, Tiffany Nixon of Perry, Patrick Scully of Mt. Morris, great grandchildren, Josh, Ashly, Hannah, Kasey, Jacob, and Chole, sister, Marguerite Alexander of Mendon, many nieces and nephews. He was born November 3, 1924 in Geneseo, the son of Lawrence and Olive Eells Scully. Bud was a longtime member of the Ski Patrol at both Swain and Bristol Mountain. He was also a member of the Skating Club of the Fingerlakes in Geneseo for many years. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 1-3 & 7-9 PM. where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 11 AM with Jeri Kober officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
