Obituary of Donald E. Batzing

Donald E. Batzing, 83, formerly of Lakeville-Groveland Rd., died Friday, January 13, 2012 at Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. He is predeceased by his sisters, Dorothy Batzing and Jean Rawleigh. He is survived by his brother, Allan Batzing of Geneseo, brother in law, Louie Rawleigh of Geneseo, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was born March 21, 1928 in Rochester, NY the son of Earl and Esther Morris Batzing. Donald retired from the Batzing Farm in Geneseo where he worked for many years. No prior calling hours. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo with Rev. Steve Sweeting officiating. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation Activity Fund, 11 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
