Obituary of Raphael A. Montemarano

Raphael A. Montemarano, 89, of Henderson, NV, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 24, 2011 at his residence in Henderson, NV. Mr. Montemarano was formerly of Cuylerville. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years Ann McKinney Montemarano. He is survived by his daughter, Marilyn (Dennis) Moore, and grandson Patrick Moore of Leicester and son Ray (Karen Betke) Montemarano of Las Vegas, NV, brother, Joseph Montemarano and sister Rose McCart, both of Leicester, many nieces and nephews. He was born July 2, 1922 in Cuylerville, NY the son of Dominic and Maria Marcello Montemarano. Raphael was retired from Desert General Motors Corporation in Las Vegas. No prior calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 6:00 PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 175 Main St. in Leicester with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Private Interment will be in Leicester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke's Parish, 13 North St., Geneseo, NY, 14454.
