Obituary of William John Edgar

Dr. William John Edgar, 78, of Logan Rd. in Groveland, died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at St. Ann's Heritage Palliative Care Unit in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his wife, Stacey Edgar, several children and grandchildren. He was born January 20, 1933 in Charlottesville, Virginia the son of William and Frances Ring Edgar Jr. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Dr. Edgar was a professor at SUNY Geneseo, where he received two Excellence in Teaching Awards and a Distinguished Teacher Award. No prior calling hours.
