Obituary of Dorothy L. Batzing

Dorothy L. Batzing, 85, a resident of the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, died there Monday, July 11, 2011. Miss Batzing was a longtime resident of Lakeville-Groveland Road in Geneseo prior to her admission to the nursing home. She is survived by 2 brothers, Donald and Allan Batzing both of Geneseo, brother in law, Louie Rawleigh of Geneseo, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister Jean Rawleigh and brother Lewis Batzing. She was born July 18, 1925 in Rochester, NY the daughter of Earl and Esther Morris Batzing. No Prior Calling Hours. Graveside Services will be held Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10 AM in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo with Rev. Steve Sweeting officiating.
