Obituary of Bruce K. Keihl

Bruce K. Keihl age 85 of Lima Road in Geneseo, passed away early Thursday morning, June 2, 2011 at his home. He was born July 9, 1925 in Summerville, PA the son of the late Farrell and Margaret (Baughman) Keihl. He married Patricia Lang Keihl on September 4, 1956 in Cumberland, MD. Bruce was a US Army veteran having served from 1943 to 1946 during WWII. He had been employed as the Vice-President of Baughman Materials & Concrete in West Bloomfield, NY. Bruce was an avid woodworker having made many pieces of furniture for many family members. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed growing tomatoes, garlic and strawberries. Bruce is survived by his wife, Patricia Keihl of Geneseo; his children David Keihl of Livonia, Molly Nesbitt of Nunda, and Bill (Sherry) Keihl of Geneseo; 9 grandchildren, Eric Keihl of Pittsburgh, PA, Daniel Keihl and Jarrod Keihl both of Livonia, Mark Nesbitt of Alfred, John Nesbitt and Margaret Nesbitt both of Nunda, Morgan Keihl, Connor Keihl, and Kaitlyn Keihl all of Geneseo; sister, Joann (Lynn) Dobson of Worthville, PA; a dear friend Aggie Park, many nieces and nephews. Bruce was predeceased by his son-in-law Leslie Nesbitt and daughter-in-law Michele Keihl. There will be no prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Drive, Mt. Morris, NY, 14510. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the Pluta Center in Rochester.
