Obituary of Dorothy May Barber

Dorothy May Barber, 75, of East State St. in Mt. Morris, died Monday, May 23, 2011 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her brother, Jerry (Charlotte) Barber of Geneseo, several nieces, nephews and many friends. Dorothy was born May 29, 1935 in Piffard, NY the daughter of Elmer and Emma Barber. She retired as a self employed housekeeper and was an active member of the Village Baptist Church in Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 1-4 PM where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 4 PM with Pastor David Ritz of the Village Baptist Church in Mt. Morris officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland. Memorials may be made to the Village Baptist Church, 39 1/2 Chapel St., Mt. Morris, NY, 14510.
