Obituary of Minnie C. Davis

Minnie C. Davis, 86, formerly of Geneseo, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at her Residence on Wilbur St. in Rochester. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Davis and son, Daniel Smith. She is survived by 3 daughters, Joan (José) Lopez of Rochester, Roxanne (John) Ortiz of Rochester, Marie Maldonado of PA, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sister, Ella Greene sister of GA, nieces and nephews including Mary Ann Sims of Rochester, which whom she lived. Minnie was born August 21, 1924 in East Pembroke, NY the daughter of Murray and Mabel Knight Crandall. She was a day care provider for the County of Monroe in Rochester. Visitation will be held at Faith Christian Center, 1797 Clifford Ave. on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 12 noon - 1 PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 4, 2011 at 1 PM at the Faith Christian Center with Pastor John Walker officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Batavia.
