Obituary of Paul D. Andrews

Paul Donnan Andrews, 71, of Retsof Rd. in Piffard, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his children, Robert Andrews of Mt. Dora, FL, Wendy (Sam) Smith of Leesburg, FL, Paula (Franklin Teodoro) Valdez of Piffard, Daniel (January) Andrews of Piffard, 16 grandchildren, brother, Ted (Joan) Andrews of York, aunt, Martha Andrews of Mt. Morris, 2 nieces, a nephew, and several cousins. He was born December 26, 1939 in Warsaw, NY the son of Leland C. and Anna Elizabeth Donnan Andrews. He was a graduate of York Schools and had been employed at Donnan Farms in York. Paul was a US Army Veteran, Honorably Discharged in May of 1962 with the M-1 Rifle Sharpshooter Medal. Visitation will be held at Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Tuesday March 29, 2011 from 4-7 PM where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 10 AM with Pastor David Ritz of the Village Baptist Church in Mt. Morris officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
