Obituary of Sally J. Johnson

Sally J. Johnson, 76, of Kingston Rd. in Leicester, died Friday, February 11, 2011 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. She is survived by her husband, Dayton W. Johnson, children, Mary Lou (Tom) Klopfer of Gasport, Brenda Stamp of Lockport, James (Connie) Stamp of Lockport, Teresa Stamp of Lockport, Walter Stamp of CA, Lisa Stamp of CA, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, step children, Dennis (Lana) Johnson of Conesus, Susan (Dale) Harper of North Rose, Dawn (Bud) McHargue of IN, Russell Johnson of Medina, Tom Johnson of WI, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, brother Robert (Virgina) Demorest of MD, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Robert Demorest. Sally was born October 17, 1934 in Lockport, NY the daughter of Harold and Maude Phillingham Demorest. She was an avid bingo player at many local fire departments. Visitation will be held Thursday February 17, 2011 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo with Memorial Services to follow visitation at 7 PM with Rev. Ray Lindquist officiating. Interment will be in Leicester Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the family.
