Obituary of Doris M. Montemarano

Doris M. Montemarano, 88, of Megan Dr. in Geneseo, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Mrs. Montemarano was a longtime resident of Cuylerville before moving to Foxwood Run Apartments in Geneseo. She is survived by her son, Mauro "Cookie" (Peggy) Montemarano Jr. of Cuylerville, daughters, Mary Rose (Hatler) Burnette of Pikeville, KY, Kathy (Richard) Baumgardner of Cuylerville, Lorie (John) Stewart of Cuylerville, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, daughter in law, Nancy (Pete) Schneider of FL, sister in law, Rose McCart of Leicester, brothers in law, Joseph Montemarano of Leicester, Patsy Montemarano of Mt. Morris, Rafael and Victor Montemarano both of Las Vegas, NV, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Mauro Montemarano Sr. and son Dominic Montemarano, brother, Earl Eggert, sisters, Marge Lubanski and Ruth Merkel. She was born October 21, 1922 in Rochester, NY the daughter of William and Caroline Desin Eggert. Doris was retired from Champion Products in Geneseo. She was a former member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Leicester. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 4-8 PM where Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 10 AM with Father John Hayes of St. Mathews Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
