Gerald H. Smith, 60, of Laughlin Lane in Geneseo, died Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his wife Rose Howard Smith, daughter, Beth Smith of Mt. Morris, son, Jerry Smith of Wayland, mother, Martha Smith of TX, sisters, Kathy (Timothy) Heckman of York, Laurie (William) Stephens of TX, Nancy (Salvador) Esparza of TX, brothers, Danny Smith of TX, Randy (Jennifer) Smith of TX, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter Rose Marie Smith, and his father Jerry Smith. He was born September 16, 1950 in Rochester, NY the son of Jerry and Martha Clark Smith. He had been employed by Brady Farms in Mt. Morris, NY. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St., in Geneseo on Wednesday from 11 AM-1 PM where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 1 PM. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Scottsburg.
