Obituary of Philip H. Hadley

Philip H. Hadley, 80, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. He had been a resident at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. He was predeceased by his wife Sheila in 1995. He is survived by children, Stephen (Cynthia) Hadley of Geneseo, Robin (Phil) Cahill of Miami, FL, Randy (Gwyn) Hadley of Corinth, NY, grandchildren, Allison (Rudy) Diedreck, Kristen Hadley, Brian and Lauren Cahill, Dylan Hadley, great grandchildren, Caleb and Claire Diedreck, several nieces and nephews. He was born March 18, 1932 in Leominster, Massachusetts the son of Lawrence and Eleanor Whittier Hadley. Philip was a US Army Korean War Veteran. He was a retired salesman for Holyoke Machine Company in Massachusetts. Philip was a lifetime fan of the NY Giants, Boston Celtics, and Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed discussing sports with all of his friends, family, and beloved caretakers at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. No Prior Calling Hours. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 2 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Leominster, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, 11 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
