Obituary of Clarence N. Kimber

Clarence N. Kimber II, 77, died Monday, August 30, 2010 at The Friendly Home in Rochester, NY where he had been a resident since August of 2009. He had previously resided at The Gables on Clinton Ave., in Rochester and prior to that was a longtime resident of Geneseo. He is survived by 2 children, Thomas (Karin) Kimber of Morrisville, NY, Kathy (Art Dietschler) Kimber of Rochester, 2 granddaughters Hope and Lilly Kimber of Morrisville, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine Kimber in 2008. He was born July 14, 1933 in Rochester, NY the son of Clarence and Helen Shaddock Kimber. Clarence served in the US Army from 1957-1959. He was employed by the Rochester City School District and retired as Vice Principal at Churchville-Chili Central School. Clarence was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Geneseo and the Geneseo Kiwanis Club. He was an avid bowler and golfer, and was a member of Livingston Country Club in Geneseo. Clarence was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, educator and friend. No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Central Presbyterian Church, 31 Center St. in Geneseo with Rev. Carson Mouser officiating. Interment will be in the Central Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden, followed by a reception in the fellowship hall.
