Obituary of Nelson M. Mason

Nelson M. Mason died peacefully in the presence of his son, Kirk Mason, and daughter-in-law, Danuta, on Friday, March 26, 2010, in Dunedin, FL. Nelson was born May 16, 1926, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara (Overend), son, Kevin and brother, Perry Mason. He is survived by sons, Kirk (Danuta) Mason of Dunedin, FL, Kameron Mason of Boca Raton, FL, daughter, Kathie (John) Briggs of Syracuse, NY, sister, Iris Blackwell of San Antonio, TX, grandchildren, Kiersten ( David Blackett) King and Nicholas King, Kevin (Melanie) Mason of Rochester, NY, Jennine Fabiani and her children Joseph and Anthony, all of Boca Raton, FL, his lifelong family friends, E. Philip and Carole Saunders of Ossian, NY. Nelson leaves a number of loving nieces, nephews and cousins in both the U.S. and Canada. Friends are invited to celebrate Nels's life Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Ossian Hill Community Center, Ossian Hill Rd. from 1-4 PM, where a Memorial Service will be held at the completion of calling hours, followed by a period of fellowship and refreshments.
