Obituary of Marjorie F. Dimpfl

Marjorie F. Dimpfl, 91, a resident of the Avon Nursing Home since 2005, died there on Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Mrs. Dimpfl had resided on West View Crescent in Geneseo prior to her admission to the nursing home. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Dimpfl in November of 1988. She is survived by her children, Barbara (Frank) Rubright of Detroit, MI, Daniel (Susan) Dimpfl of Geneseo, Virginia (David Karwowski) Dimpfl of San Jose, CA, grandchildren, Marjorie Rubright, Patrick (Heather Garrido) Dimpfl, Michael Dimpfl, Eric Rubright, Kate (Nicholas Johnston) Dimpfl, great grandchildren, Oscar Johnston and Elder Dimpfl Garrido. Marjorie was born January 8, 1919 in Spencerport, NY the daughter of Lawrence and Leona Smith Stettner. She was retired from the Al Sigl Community of Agencies in Rochester, NY. She was a longtime member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Geneseo and she very much enjoyed Geneseo since relocating here in 1981. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 4:30-7 PM. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Central Presbyterian Church, 31 Center St. in Geneseo with Rev. Carson Mouser officiating. Interment will be in the White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to Central Presbyterian Church, 31 Center St., Geneseo, NY, 14454, or the Al Sigl Center (Community of Agencies), 1000 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY, 14620-3098.
