Judith Ann Farruggia, 58, of Henrietta, formerly of Retsof, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She is survived by her father, Carmen Farruggia, brother, James (Debra) Farruggia, niece, Adriana Farruggia and nephew, Peter Farruggia all of Retsof, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother Loretta Farruggia, her stepmother Angeline Farruggia, numerous aunts and uncles. She was born March 6, 1951 in Warsaw, NY the daughter of Carmen and Loretta Spizzano Farruggia. She was a graduate of York Central School and was employed as a social worker with the County of Monroe in Rochester. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Friday, January 15, 2010 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Lucy's Church in Retsof with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
