Obituary of Leola Y. Mustari

Leola Y. Mustari, 84, of Hawthorn Circle in Geneseo, died Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the Teresa House in Geneseo, NY. Mrs. Mustari had previously resided in Retsof. She is survived by her children, Janet (Robert) Hilliard of Lima, Marlene Darfler of Derwood, MD, Frank Mustari of Alexandria, VA, 5 sisters, Dorothy Westerman of Macedon, Edna Walters, Marjorie Knebel, Jean Gillette, Ida (Jack) Taft, all of Webster, brother, Lysle (Hedwig) Young of Webster, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Mustari, and her parents Lysle and Hazel Young. She was born October 6, 1925 in Perinton, NY the daughter of Lysle and Hazel Sweet Young. Lee was a graduate of Fairport High School, S.U.N.Y. at Geneseo and retired in 1988 after 25 years of service to York Central School. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Monday, October 12, 2009 from 4-7 PM where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. with Deacon George Spezzano of St. Luke's Parish officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY, 14510.
