Obituary of Janie L. Argenta

Janie L. Argenta, 49, of Lockwood Dr. in Pittsford, died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Miss Argenta was previously from Geneseo. She is survived by her mother, Nancy Argenta of Geneseo, sister, Marilyn Argenta of Greece, brother, Larry Argenta of Clarence, several aunts, uncles and cousins, many friends and colleagues at Dixon Schwabl in Victor, NY. She was preceded in death by her father Leonard Argenta in 2004. She was born March 20, 1960 in Warsaw, NY the daughter of Leonard and Nancy Tarantello Argenta. She was a graduate of Geneseo Central School and State University of New York at Geneseo where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and Communication. Janie served on their Faculty Student Association. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
