Evelyn Mary Stanley, 91, of North Point Dr. in Geneseo, died Friday, September 18, 2009 at her residence on Conesus Lake. She is survived by her husband Vincent J. Stanley of Geneseo, her children, John (Susan) Stanley of Geneseo, Dean Stanley of Rochester, Vincent (Katie) Stanley Jr. of Rochester, 4 grandchildren, Justin, Zachary, Clayton and Mollie Stanley, 2 sisters, Doris Wilber of Midway, MA, Shirley Long of Rochester, several nieces and nephews. Evelyn was born September 26, 1917 in Framingham, Massachusetts the daughter of Kenneth and Ada White Walters. She served in the US Army Air Corps as a secretary in the 8th Fighter Command during World War II. Upon her honorable discharge from the military, she became secretary for the Framingham, Massachusetts High School. She married Vincent J. Stanley on March 22, 1945 in Omaha, Nebraska. No prior calling hours. Funeral arrangements are private.
