Sarah Ann Borden, 28, of State Route 436 in Ossian, NY, died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. She is survived by her fiance, Dennis Sawdey of Ossian, her mother, Maxine Borden of Geneseo, her father, James Borden of Penfield, brothers and sisters, James (Debra) Borden of Fairport, Shelly Weiss of Fairport, Kenneth (Kim) Borden of Weare, NH, Thomas (Wendy) Borden of Rochester, Patty (Jeff Root) Palmer of Geneseo, Constance (Clifford) Aho of Geneseo, Jeremiah (Amanda) Borden of York, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Sarah was born September 5, 1980 in Dansville, NY the daughter of James and Maxine Sushereba Borden. She was a graduate of York Central School in Retsof. Sarah was employed as a nurse at the office of Dr. Stephen E. Presser in Geneseo. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 from 4-7 PM where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 7 PM. Burial will be in the Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to the family at 5608 Megan Dr., Geneseo, NY 14454.
