Alma L. McCaughey, a resident at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, died there Sunday, July 12, 2009. Mrs. McCaughey resided on Seminole Ave. in Geneseo prior to her admission to the nursing home.She was predeceased by her husband James McCaughey in 1989.She is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.She was born November 13, 1913 in Clarion, Pennsylvania the daughter of Miles and Rhea Brown Noble. She was a member of the Geneseo United Methodist Church and their Craft Group. Mrs. McCaughey was retired from the food service staff of S.U.N.Y at Geneseo.No prior calling hours.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo with her longtime friend Lucille Kane officiating.
