Obituary of Lawrence A. Caloia

Lawrence A. "Rence" Caloia, 52, of Parkview Dr. in Avon, died suddenly Monday, July 6, 2009 in Mendon, NY. He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Caloia of Farmington, NY, sisters, Lorri Caloia of Syracuse, NY and Beth (Eric) Rhodes of Linwood, NY, niece, Jessica Rhodes of Linwood, NY, aunts, uncles and many cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Irma Caloia.He was born August 25, 1956 in Utica, NY the son of Anthony and Irma Furcinito Caloia. Mr. Caloia had been employed by Winchester Optical in Macedon. He had previously operated Geneseo Optical on Main St. in Geneseo with his late partner Peter Radesi. "Rence" enjoyed golfing, swimming and hunting. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Monday, July 13, 2009 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Service will be private
