Obituary of George R. Crabb

George R. Crabb, 75, of Elm Rd. in Geneseo, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.He is survived by his wife Betty Smith Crabb, 2 sons, David (Patricia) Crabb of Livonia, Daniel Crabb of Geneseo, son in law, Kevin Stein of South Berwick, ME, 9 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, sister, Nancy Crabb of Batavia, brother, William Crabb of Pittsburgh, PA, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his daughter Diane Stine, and his sister Jean Crabb.He was born October 6, 1933 in Nunda, NY the son of George and Jemina Slane Crabb. George was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Joseph Gallipeau American Legion Post 294 in Avon. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Friday, June 19, 2009 from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the East Avon First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Thomas Taylor officiating.
