Obituary of Cora M. Rigoni

Cora M. Rigoni, 96, of Dow Rd. in Piffard, NY, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She is survived by her daughter, Betty (Robert) DeMocker of Wadsworth, Ronald (Gloria) Regone of Wadsworth, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, 2 sisters, Irene Chenault of Venice, FL, Josephine Geroux of Kenmore, NY, her brother, Anthony (Minnie) Yamonaco of Leicester, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Rigoni, whom she married June 11, 1938, and her great granddaughter Jennifer Herdzik. She was born May 31, 1912 in Greigsville, NY the daughter of Angelo and Antoinette Yasso Yamonaco. Cora was retired from Electro Networks in Caledonia, NY. She was a longtime member of St. Lucy's Church in Retsof. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Friday, May 29, 2009 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Lucy's Church in Retsof with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
