Obituary of Vivian R. Wakely

Vivian R. Wakely, 93, of Stuyvesant Manor in Geneseo, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She is survived by her daughter Judy Bliven of Geneseo, granddaughters, Jody (Robert) Nellis of Piffard, Jamie Bliven of Chaumont, NY, great grandchildren, Daniel, Caleb and Trevor Nellis, Logan, Colton and Landon Bliven, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Wakely in 1996, her granddaughters, Melissa Bliven in 1977, and Dawn Bliven in 2006. She was born April 12, 1915 in Short Tract, NY the daughter of Arthur and Madge Lilly Myers. Vivian was a member of the Geneseo United Methodist Church Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 2-5 PM where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 5 PM with Lucille Kane officiating.
