Carol R. Schiller, 84, of Columbus Ave. in Mt. Morris, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. Mrs. Schiller had previously resided on Limerick Rd. in Linwood with her late husband LaVern "Shorty" Schiller who predeceased her in 1998. She is survived by 2 daughters Doreen (Corky) Smith of Lake Placid, FL, Wanda (Gregg) Krautwurst of Leicester, 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, 1 brother, several nieces and nephews. Carol was born March 9, 1924 in Batavia, NY the daughter of Bernard and Johanna Richenback Sellhorst. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Friday, January 30, 2009 from 2-4, 7-9 PM. Graveside Services will be held in the spring in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, York with Rev. Neil Frood of the York United Presbyterian Chuch officiating.
