Betty Jane Boyd, 83, of York, NY, died Friday, September 19, 2008 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY following a brief illness. She is survived by 3 daughters Linda (Joe) Cappadonia of Mt. Morris, Deborah Kelley of York, Bonnie Boyd of York, 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, 3 sisters Dorothy (Fritz) Hackett of Pavilion, Mary Lois (Bill) Carson of York, Agnes Hehnly of York, brother in law Ray Wolfe of York, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son George Boyd and her sisters Anna Mae Hulburt, Margaret Gregg, and Patricia Wolfe. She was born July 25, 1925 in York the daughter of David and Mabel Dale Rossborough. Betty was retired from the Maintenance Department at the State University of New York at Geneseo. No prior calling hours. Funeral services will be Private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
