Obituary of Victor D. Bisig

GENESEO: Victor D. Bisig, 78, the manager of Valley View Apartments in Geneseo, died Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. He is survived by his nephew John(Barbara) Bisig of Elba, NY, 2 great nieces Amanda Bisig of Elba, and Pamela(Eric) Pangrazio of Oakfield, NY, and many friends. He was born August 13, 1929 in Oakfield, NY the son of Minor and Eleanor Offen Bisig. Vic served in the US Army Air Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of VFW Post 5005 in Geneseo and Geneseo Masonic Lodge # 214. Visitation will be held at Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Saturday, June 14, 2008 from 9-11 AM where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 11 AM with Rev. Paul Metzger of the Assembly of God Church in Geneseo officiating, assisted by the members of the Geneseo Masonic Lodge. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Elba, NY on Saturday at 2 PM with Full Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the Geneseo Masonic Lodge, 7 Northview Dr., Geneseo, NY, 14454.
