Obituary of David E. Alden

David E. Alden, 85, a retired computer salesman and engineer, passed away December 3, 2012 in Tallahassee, Florida. Mr. Alden and his family had previously resided in Geneseo. Born March 17, 1927, in Needham, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late William Frances and Anne Gannon Alden. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Having resided in Tallahassee for the past 22 years, he was a parishioner at St. Louis Catholic Church, 3640 Fred George Rd, Tallahassee, FL. He is survived by sons, William F. Alden, Jonathan H. Alden, Robert P. Alden; daughter, Pamela A. Dunn-Alden; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his sister, Priscilla Ringer; and a faithful and loving companion, Claudia M. Nelson, PhD. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 11 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church in Tallahassee. A gathering at the family's home will follow the service.
