Francis "Jim" Grentzinger died peacefully at his residence on Lima Rd. in Geneseo on Monday, March 3, 2008 after a short but courageous battle with cancer at age 65. He is survived by his wife Kathleen, 2 children, Brian(Stacie) Wall of Geneseo, Rebecca(Christopher) Evans of Royersford, PA, granddaughter Kylie Grace Wall, 2 brothers John(Mary Jane) Grentzinger of Niagara Falls, Daniel Grentzinger of Batavia, sister Ann(Phil) Martellacci of Springfield, VA, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was born October 4, 1942 in Batavia, NY the son of John and Louise Roach Grentzinger. Jim enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, cruising the world, playing golf, and was a lifelong Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan. The family wishes to thank many friends for their support, especially Loren and Sue Scott, dear friends Pat and Ann Williams, Jimmy Vitale and Sue Bartholomew. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Church in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating.
