Obituary of Joan M. Magee

Joan M. "Annie" Linsner Magee, age 83, of Groveland, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Magee in 1989. She devoted her life to her family which includes her children, Ray (Sue) Magee of Geneseo, John (Sandra) Magee of Franklin, NC, William (Patty) Magee of Groveland, Michael (Nancy) Magee of Victor 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Annie was one of 15 children and leaves her two sisters, Eunice (Irving) Buchanan of PA, Peggy Stanley of Conesus Lake, sisters in law, Pat, Elaine, Dorothy and Phyllis Linsner, many nieces and nephews. Joan was born December 27, 1931 in Dansville, NY the daughter of Samuel and Selena Burns Linsner. Annie enjoyed doing so many things, gardening, playing cards, watching or playing a good baseball game, traveling near and far, and having all of her family and friends come and enjoy food and fun together. No prior calling hours. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 10 AM at Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland followed by a Memorial Service at 11 AM at the Sparta First Presbyterian Church in Groveland. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the ABVI, 500 Clinton Ave. South, Rochester, NY 14620 or a charity of one's choice.
