Obituary of Helen W. Dempsey

Helen W. Dempsey, age 94, a resident of Morgan Estates, formerly of Lakeville Groveland Rd. in Geneseo and Zephyrhills, FL, died Friday, October 31, 2014 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, William Dempsey Jr. in 1997, and son, Robert Dempsey in 2007. She is survived by her children, Penny (Bruce Richer) Dempsey of Zephyrhills, FL, Christine (Thomas) Thompson of Geneseo, William (Arlene) Dempsey of Sparks, NV, daughter in law, Margaret Dempsey of Batavia, grandchildren, Viola "Sandy" (Steven) Clements of PA, Eric House of Ontario, NY, Elizabeth Thompson of Batavia, Robert Jr., Heidi and Ryan Dempsey all of Batavia, great grandchildren, Max and Cory House, Molly and Bailey Clements, sister, Ruth Davis of Avon, many cousins, nieces & nephews. Helen was born July 15, 1920 in Geneseo, NY the daughter of Glenn and Agnes Hanna Webb. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Geneseo. Calling hours will be held Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 1-4 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 at 10 AM at the Central Presbyterian Church in Geneseo with Pastor Nancy Lowmaster officiating. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Central Presbyterian Church, 31 Center St., Geneseo, NY 14454 or the Livingston County C.N.R. (Activity Fund), 11 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
