He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary McCauley Thompson, 2 sons, Thomas (Christine) Thompson of Geneseo, NY, John (Cindy) Thompson of Olean, NY, grandchildren, Elizabeth Thompson of Batavia, NY, Jennifer (Tim) Griffin of Allegany, NY, Jeffrey (Kathy) Thompson of Winston-Salem, NC, great grandchildren, Tyler and Luke Griffin of Allegany, NY, several nieces and nephews.
