Obituary of Nancy T. Argenta

Nancy T. Argenta, age 89, of Morgan View Road in Geneseo, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Mrs. Argenta was a longtime resident of Livingston St. in Geneseo before moving to Morgan Estates. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard in 2004 and daughter Jane in 2009. Nancy is survived by her children, Larry Argenta of Clarence, Marilyn Duemmel of Rochester, sisters, Fran and Gloria Tarantella both of Retsof, Teenie Deragon of Geneseo, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Nancy was born May 5, 1925 in Retsof, NY the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Morocco Tarantella. She retired from the State University of New York College at Geneseo Bursar's office. Nancy was a former President of CSEA at SUNY Geneseo. She was a former member of the Village of Geneseo Planning Board. Friends may call Friday, August 29, 2014 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to the Geneseo Ambulance Fund, P.O.
