Obituary of Wilma J. Burdick

Wilma J. Burdick, age 95, of Piffard, died Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw where she had resided since 2010. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Burdick Sr. in 1989. She is survived by her children, Juanita (Eugene) Richenberg of NC, Gwendolyn (Harlan) George of Alexander, NY, Noreen Burdick of Rochester, Wilfred (Shirley) Burdick Jr. of Warsaw, 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Wilma was born September 11, 1918 in Piffard, NY the daughter of Myron and Grace Burrus Flint. She married Wilfred Burdick on November 20, 1935 in Avon. Wilma and Wilfred retired to Sorrento, FL in 1975. Wilma returned north shortly after Wilfred's death in 1989. Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held at 7 PM with James Renfrew officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York. Memorials may be made to the Byron Presbyterian Church, P.O.
