Obituary of Alice Pooley

Alice E. Pooley, age 97, of Geneseo, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Teresa House in Geneseo. She was predeceased by her husband Victor Pooley and daughter Joan Howard. Alice is survived by her daughter Jean (Joe) Lentner of Leicester, grandchildren Scott (Sandy) Howard, Pam (Robert) Routly, Karen (Jerry) Waldron and Christopher Lentner, 9 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren. Alice was born May 21, 1916 in Watkins Glen to Arthur and Teresa Stack Ellison. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Alice's family would like to thank the staff at the Teresa House in Geneseo for the excellent care Alice received during her stay at their wonderful facility. No prior calling hours. Her Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Interment will be in St. Teresa's Cemetery, Stanley, NY at the convenience of the family.
