Obituary of Daniel T. "Rummy" Rumfola
Daniel T. "Rummy" Rumfola, age 75, of Geneseo, passed away suddenly, Thursday, December 26, 2024 at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony "Rip" and Betty Rumfola.
He is survived by his daughter, Kellie (Jamie) Nevin of Avon, her mother, Karen Rumfola of Geneseo, granddaughters, Rylee and Natalie Nevin both of Avon, several cousins and many dear friends.
Dan was born January 30, 1949 in Batavia, NY the son of Anthony and Betty Jean Hyde Rumfola. Dan was a graduate of Avon Central School class of 1968. He retired from Eastman Kodak in Rochester after many dedicated years. Rummy was a long time member of Livingston County Club in Geneseo where he participated in many tournaments and was a member of the Tuesday Senior League. He also enjoyed deer hunting, playing softball, watching his beloved New York Yankees, Buffalo Bills and University of Kentucky basketball.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 4-6 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. A Celebration of Rummy's Life will follow calling hours at the Idle Hour, 5 Center St. in Geneseo. Private interment will be with his parents in St. Agnes Cemetery in Avon.
