Obituary of Charles N. Streb

Charles N. Streb, age 79, of Geneseo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and teacher.

He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Pearl, brothers, Paul and Bernie.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Katie, sons, Chuck (Sandy) and Mark (Sue), grandchildren Chas (Chloe Kimbrough), Molly, Paul (Karah), Jake (Allie) and Tanner (Jess Eblin), great-granddaughter Kya, brother, Lee and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Charlie was born March 24, 1945 in Rochester, NY the son of Paul and Pearl Converse Streb. Mr. Streb was a high school math teacher at Caledonia-Mumford for 30 years where he helped thousands of students. In his 20 plus years of retirement he enjoyed traveling with his family and watching his grandchildren's numerous activities as they grew up.

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11 AM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
