Obituary of Steven A. Parker

Steven A. Parker "Elvis", age 82, of Geneseo, died Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY.

He is survived by his adopted daughter, Rosemary (Mike) Hoey of Loon Lake, adopted grandsons, Benjamin and Jeremy Hoey both of Avoca, special friend, Patty Palmer of Mt. Morris, dear friends, Shelly Amico of Batavia, Sue Zehler and the Savino family all of Geneseo. Steve also leaves his church family at the Village Baptist Church in Mt. Morris and his many ARC friends including Kellie Kennedy, his care coordinator from the ARC.

Steven was born July 5, 1942 in Watertown, NY the son of Neil and Marjie Worden Parker. He worked for SUNY Geneseo Maintenance Department and Hill Top Industries in Mt. Morris. Steve was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing softball.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 10AM - 11AM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where his Funeral Services will follow at 11 AM with Pastor Matt White officiating. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Village Baptist Church, 39 1/2 Chapel St., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
