Obituary of Jeffrey S. Drain

Jeffrey S. Drain "Draino", age 57, of Geneseo, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 20, 2024 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Drain, parents, William and Dolores Drain, sister, Elaine (Ty) Vanson of Geneseo, step children, Simon (Melissa) Krauss, Jordan (Meghan) Jaeger, Stephanie (Pete) Wensel, grandchildren, Shayli, Bayli, Lillian, Keni and Benjamin, mother-in-law, Linda Burr of Geneseo, father-in-law, Kenneth Burr of Dansville, sister in law, Ricki (Pat) Wensel, brother in law, Brian (Michelle) Burr, aunt, Shirley Taft of FL, several, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and many dear friends. Jeff was born March 15, 1967 in Warsaw, NY the son of William H. and Dolores Taft Drain. He was a tri-sport athlete at Geneseo Central School. He went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education Administration. Jeff was employed by the Village of Perry as a Supervisor for the Water and Waste Water Treatment Facility. He coached JV Soccer as well as coached the Baseball Team for 18 years at Geneseo Central School. Draino played softball for many years including travel ball where his team won the Softball World Series Championship in 2017. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout where his passion for the outdoors transferred right into his love for fishing and hunting. A Celebration of Draino's Life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 3 PM at the A-On-Do-Wa-Nuh Sportsman's Club, 4716 River Rd, Leicester, NY 14481. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Livingston County Hospice Fund, 2 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510 or the Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642.
