Obituary of Linda L. Kent

Linda L. Kent, age 69, of York/Linwood, died Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. She was predeceased by her parents, Herschel Hicks and Dorothy Barber.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Kent, children, Clyde Taylor and Bridget Taylor both of Orlando, FL, Bonnie (Steven) Malley of Avon, Amber Kent of York, grandchildren, Bianca, Camdin, Peyton and Jadyn Taylor, Jacob and Matthew Malley, Kyra Hardy, sister, Brenda (Howard) Teed of Hemlock, brother in law, Curtis Kent of Bath, aunt, Martha (Skip) Linsner of Mt. Morris, many nieces and nephews.

Linda was born April 13, 1955 in Rochester, NY the daughter of Ivo Herschel and Dorothy C. Smith Hicks. She retired from Applied Energy Solutions in Caledonia as an Inspector. Linda enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband Brian. She also enjoyed her many dear feline companions over the years.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10 AM – 12 NOON at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home where her Funeral Services will follow at 12 PM with Lucille Kane officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Fowlerville.
