My class was lucky enough to end our senior year with Mr. Bennett’s first year teaching at Warsaw. He was my first period of the day and the most memorable. For the first time ever, the senior class was expected to write not one, but TWO thesis! The audacity! As the year went on, we quickly learned that he want punishing us, but pushing us to expect more from ourselves, be better, do better. And we did, because he believed in us! Once a month he allowed me to bring in my hot plate and cook our first period class pancakes (from scratch - of course). He left a lasting impression on so many of us. So very sorry for your family’s loss.
